What to expect in a Built on Yoga class
If you’ve never done yoga before (or think you’re “too stiff”), you’re in the right place.
Built on Yoga classes in Newcastle are designed specifically for tradies and blokes who want to move better, stay strong and look after their bodies.
No experience needed.
No need to be flexible.
You don’t need to be fit to start.
If you can show up, you’re qualified.
Our men’s yoga classes focus on practical movement that helps you stay strong on the tools and avoid injuries that often come with physical work.
What to Bring
• Yoga mat
• Large beach towel
• Water bottle
What to Wear
Wear a comfortable t-shirt or singlet and longer shorts that stretch well.
Footy shorts are usually too short for some movements.
In the Class
Everyone is there for the same reason: to move better and keep their body working. Expect a strong, practical session focused on:
• Building usable strength
• Improving mobility in hips, back, shoulders and knees
• Learning simple breathing techniques to help with recovery and stress
• Moving at your own pace, no pressure, no competition
• Learning practical techniques that translate into the real world
Everything is clearly explained. You’ll be shown options for every movement, so you can work within your limits and still get a solid workout.
After the Class
